Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Shift&Sip, including the mobile app, related public share pages, and connected calendar subscription features.
By creating an account, opening a shared schedule, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be old enough to use the service under applicable law and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials.
Acceptable use
- Use Shift&Sip only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not harm the service, other users, or third parties.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, scrape private data, or reverse engineer the product except where applicable law clearly permits it.
- Do not misuse public or personal calendar links, including sharing someone else's private calendar token without permission.
- Do not use the service to violate workplace rules, privacy rights, or intellectual property rights.
Your content and shared links
- You retain rights in the schedules, screenshots, profile details, and other content you submit to Shift&Sip.
- You give us a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- If you generate a public share link, anyone with that link may be able to access the schedule it exposes until you disable or rotate the link.
- If you generate a personal calendar subscription link, treat it like a secret. Anyone with the link may be able to subscribe to your calendar feed until you turn it off.
Premium features and third-party services
- Some features may be limited to premium access or store-managed purchases. If a feature is marked premium, access may require an active entitlement shown at purchase time.
- Shift&Sip relies on third-party services such as Clerk for authentication, OpenRouter for screenshot analysis, Sentry for diagnostics, and provider infrastructure for notifications and app hosting.
- Those third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices, and your use of those underlying services is subject to the extent required by their policies.
Intellectual property
Shift&Sip, including the app design, branding, software, and service content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
Availability, suspension, and termination
- We may change, suspend, or remove features at any time, including premium features, integrations, or public share functionality.
- You may stop using the service at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, abused the service, or if we need to comply with law or provider requirements.
Disclaimers
Shift&Sip is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from your use of or inability to use Shift&Sip. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we may notify you in the app, on the website, or through other reasonable product notices.
